4-1-08 First Class Laundry

Campus Manager

First Class Laundry is seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial current freshman or sophomore for an exciting opportunity at Arkansas Tech University during the 2008-2009 school year. We are an independent laundry service provider, and after almost two years in the business we are expanding across the country in response to overwhelming demand for our services. As manager of the Arkansas Tech branch, you will be in charge of marketing and operations on campus and your compensation will be directly tied to your ability to sign up fellow undergraduates to a First Class Laundry Plan. As manager of the operations staff, your responsibilities will be to hire fellow students as employees and to make sure that all student laundry is picked up, processed and returned within the specified time for each customer. If actually doing laundry is a disqualifier for you, fear not: plenty of our campus managers have never done a single load! You are in effect the supervisor, and your only role is to see to it that all of our customers’ laundry is processed by the end of the working day. In your position as the head of marketing, your job will be to reach out to fellow students, advertising our services across campus and signing up as many customers as you are ready to take on. Our typical franchise services around 100 clients, but we have the infrastructure and the experience to handle much larger operations, and we are looking for applicants with the ambition and the drive to take Arkansas Tech University to the next level. As a young company started by two college students, we like to think that First Class Laundry is a pretty fun place to be. The campus manager position requires only 15 - 20 hours of work per week, and allows you to meet and work with fellow students while gaining valuable experience that looks great on a resume.

If you are interested in applying for this position, please email a resume to fcl@firstclasslaundry.com by Sunday, May 25th at 4 PM. We will be conducting final round interviews on campus later this semester, and feel free to check out our website for more information. Thank you for your interest in the campus manager position, and we look forward to reviewing your applications! www.firstclasslaundry.com
